Set in a Luxurious and Historic Setting

Rustic and natural scenery

Our retreat is set directly on the shores of Coniston Water in the historic Lanehead property.

With sensational views of the lake, and into the fells beyond you will be staying within touching distance of the Lake and just minutes away from Coniston village.

Built in 1840 the property has a rich literary and artistic history, linked to the author of Swallows & Amazons (Arthur Ransome).

Vinyasa Flow & Yin Yoga

Daily yoga sessions with TheYogaGenie!

Experience morning vinyasa flow sessions with our expert yoga instructor (Jean Snape), followed by early evening yin and meditation sessions.

Suitable for all levels, Jean will take participants through a series of movements specifically selected to help you connect with yourself both physically and mentally.

Wild Swimming

Ian Cartwright (Kuotos Swim) is our Wild Swimming Instructor. Ian will be on hand at the Retreat to take you on guided dips and swims in the legendary local waters.

Ian is a qualified open water lifeguard and is experienced in supporting swimmers of all levels.  So whether it is your first time in open water or you are a seasoned swimmer, Ian will help you to get the most out of your experience.
